This was our first TalkShoe call after our transition to a conference. We had a few new voices joining us and had excellent discussion about where we are and where we are going. We looked at what we need to re-evaluate now that we have transitioned to a conference and defined our next steps. These include:

Developing a more complete definition of the conference beyond a focus on new media, independent music and web 2.0 technologies. This includes:

Defining the tracks that our conference will include including defining their style whether interactive, hands-on, panel discussion, presentation or a combination thereof.
Identifying who the expected attendees are
Identifying the pre-session events which are expected to include Beer Breweries, Skiing and Rock Climbing
Verifying the attendance capacity of our venue

Defining our Executive Committee
Defining our initial budget

We should have some good material to discuss at our Denver Area Podcasters Meetup next Tuesday.
